Transcript of the Will:-

I Therese Mary Cecilia Muckleston of Marsh Cottage Maderia Road, Littlestone on Sea, New Romney, in the county of Kent Married Woman declare this to be my last Will which I make this thirteenth day of November one thousand nine hundred and sixty nine hereby revoking all other Wills and testamentary dispositions by me heretofore made.

1. I appoint Cecil David Rawley of 147 high Street, Hythe, Kent (hereinafter called "my Trustee") to be the Executor and Trustee of this my Will and I declare that the expression "my Trustee" shall include the said Cecil David Rawley or other Trustee or Trustees for the time being of this my Will except where such construction is precluded by the context.

2. I give the following legacies free of all death duties namely:-

i) to my maid Anne Stamper :-

a) The furniture in the bedroom at Marsh Cottage aforesaid which the said Anne Stamper occupies together with such other furniture as my Trustee may in his absolute discretion think fit for her reasonable comfort and well being together with sheets blankets and bed linen.

b) My three-stone diamond ring

c) My cabinet television set, and any radio receiving set she may choose

d) My small Cyma clock

e) My fur stole and all my winter coats and shoes

f) All my pearls whether cultured or otherwise

g) Provided that the said Anne Stamper is in my employment at the date of my death I give to her the sum of one thousand pounds from the proceeds of the sale of Marsh Cottage aforesaid or any other house which shall be my residence at the time of my death (which said properties are hereinafter referred to as "my home") Provided that if the sale of my home is postponed as hereinafter provided then I direct that my Trustee in his absolute and uncontrolled discretion to raise the sum of one thousand pounds on the security of my home and to pay the amount to the said Anne Stamper and I further direct that the said sum of one thousand pounds to be paid to the said Anne Stamper shall be made as soon as practicably possible after the date of my death and that it shall take priority over all other legacies

ii) To my great nephew David Ian Strachan (son of my niece Olive Margaret Beresford-Pym (nee Barley) wife of Commander I. Beresford-Pym of Sandleas Maderia Road, Littlestone on Sea New Romney aforesaid):-

a) My American Clock

b) My knife box

c) My writing desk

d) My Cromwellian settee

iii) To my step-brother Richard Cheffins of 5 Vale Avenue Southborough, Tunbridge Wells Kent:-

a) Such of my pictures and miniatures as he shall choose to have

b) Mt three bound and engraved editions of William Shakespeare and all valuable editions of literature as he may choose to have

c) The wing armchair at present in the dining room at Marsh Cottage aforesaid

d) The fumed oak chest at present in the Hall of Marsh Cottage aforesaid

e) My black leather wristlet watch

iv) to Meg Cheffins (the wife of the said Richard Cheffins)

a) My Royal Doulton dinner service

b) My ivory and silver fruit knives and forks in their case

c) My Queen Anne tea service

d) My six rat-tailed teaspoons

v) To my step niece Phyllis Irene Stirton (nee Rudd) of Little Howletts Littlebourne Near Canterbury Kent:-

a) My Rockingham dessert service

b) My six Georgian Desert spoons and forks

c) My twelve silver fish knives and forks in their oak case.

d) My Venetian glass liqueur set with tray

e) My six bean-handled coffee spoons

vi) To my pupil Valerie Francis (nee Jarvis) of 45 Allington Road Paddock Wook Tonbridge Kent:-

a) My Steinway Grand piano as a token of my love and gratitude to a staunch and loyal pupil with my blessing and wishing her success in her career and marriage.

vii) To my step niece Jean Rennie ( nee Rudd) :-

a) My antique corner cupboard at present fixed in the dining room of Marsh Cottage aforesaid

viii) I give to the said Cecil David Rawley if he shall prove my Will and accept the Trusteeship thereof the sum of one hundred pounds.

3. I direct my Trustee to allow my husband Bertram to occupy my home ( our residence at the time of my death) as long as he wishes rent free but on the condition that he pays all the outgoings and keeps it fully insured with a reputable Insurance office (on the terms of a comprehensive insurance relating to buildings) and in tenantable repair and condition. I empower my Trustee to raise and pay out of the capital any sum which may be required for structural repairs and on the sale of my home the amount so raised may be repaid to the fund out of which it was taken.

4. I give the remainder of my property including my home to my Trustee upon Trust to call in collect and convert the same into money at the best market price obtainable but with power in his uncontrolled discretion to postpone the sale thereof for such time or times as he shall think fit and having regard to the provisions for clause 3 hereof

5. My Trustee shall out of the proceeds of sale thereof pay the following namely:-

i) To the said Phyllis Irene Stirton the sum of five hundred pounds or if she shall predecease me to the said Anne Stamper in addition to the legacy of one thousand pounds hereinbefore bequeathed to her

ii) To the said David Ian Strachan the sum of five hundred pounds

iii) My funeral and testamentary expenses and debts and the legacies given by this my Will or any codicil hereto and all death duties which may be payable on my death.

6. My Trustee shall stand possessed of the residue of the said monies in trust for my beloved niece the said Olive Margaret Beresford-Pym (daughter of my late sister Dorothy Czarnomski) but if she shall predecease me then my Trustee shall stand possessed of the residue of the said monies in trust for such of them namely the said David Ian Strachan and the said Phyllis Irene Stirton as shall be living at my death and if both survive me in equal shares as tenants in common provided that if either of them shall predecease me leaving a child or children living at my death then that child or children shall take equally between them if more than one share the share which his or her parent would have taken had he or she survived me.

7. Any Executor or Trustee for the time being of this my Will being a solicitor or engaged in any profession or business shall be entitled to charge retain and be paid all professional and other charges for business done or transacted by him or his firm in the execution of or in connection with any trust hereof or including work or business not of a strictly professional nature which a Trustee could do personally
