The will with a codicil of Richard Muckleston late of Westoning in the county of Bedford Corn dealer who died 25th December 1886 at Westoning was proved at the principle registry by Blackhall Joseph Yarrow of Springfield Cottage New Southgate in the count

y of Middlesex Gentleman and Susan Hillyard of Westoning spinster the executors.

Transcript of the Will:-

I Richard Muckleston of Westoning in the county of Bedford Corn dealer hereby revoke all former Wills codicils and other testamentary dispositions made by me and declare this to be my last will and testament. I bequeath to my wife Mary Muckleston the sum of fifty pounds to be paid to her within one month after my decease for her immediate use. I bequeath to my friend Blackhall Joseph Yarrow of New Southgate in the county of Middlesex Clerk in the bank of England the sum of nineteen pounds nineteen shillings provided he accept the trusts reponed in him by this my will and subject to such legacies to my said wife and the said Blackhall Joseph Yarrow. I give devise and bequeath unto my said wife, the said Blackhall Joseph Yarrow and Susan Hillyard of Westoning in the county of Bedford spinster niece of my said wife and now residing with me, all my real and personal estate whatsoever and wheresoever of or to which I shall at my death be seized possessed or entitled or over which I shall at my death have a power of appointment in trust to pay to my said wife or allow her to receive during her life the merits issues profits dividends and income thereof and after the death of my said wife I give devise and bequeath all my said real and personal estate unto and to the use of the said Susan Hillyard for her own absolute use and benefit subject nevertheless to the payment of the following legacies which I hereby bequeath. Namely to George Muckleston of Oxted near to Redhill in the county of Surrey Publican the sum of five hundred pounds. To Francis Hallworth of Pulloxhill in the county of Bedford now in the employ of the Great Northern Railway Company the sum of four hundred pounds. To Mary Ann Emerton the wife of George Emerton of Liverpool Road Islington London the sum of four hundred pounds. To Phoebe Elliot Hillyard of Ampthill in the county of Bedford Spinster daughter of Robert Hillyard of the same place the sum of three hundred pounds.To Sarah Hillyard sister of the said Phoebe Elliott Hillyard the sum of three hundred pounds. To Florence Mary Emerton daughter of the said George and Mary Ann Emerton of Liverpool Road Islington aforesaid the sum of one hundred pounds to be paid to her attaining the age of 21 years, but in case the said Florence Mary Emerton shall die before attaining that age leaving any children or child the said sum of one hundred pounds shall be equally divided between such children or paid to such child of the said Florence Mary Emerton and in case the said Florence Mary Emerton shall die under the age of twenty one years without leaving any child then I give the said sum of one hundred pounds to her brother Arthur Emerton but only if he shall be living at the death of the said Florence Mary Emerton. I appoint my said wife and the said Blackhall Joseph Yarrow and Susan Hillyard executors and trustees of this my will in witness whereof I the said Richard Muckleston have herewith set my hand this fourteenth day of August one thousand eight hundred and seventy nine -RICHARD MUCKLESTON- signed by the said Richard Muckleston in the presence of both of us and by both of us in his presence - C. THIS IS A CODICIL to the last will and testament dated the fourteenth day of August 1879 of me Richard Muckleston of Westoning in the county of Bedford Corn dealer whereas I have by my said will devised and bequeathed all my real and personal estate (after the death of my wife Mary which event has happened) to Susan Hillyard for her own absolute use and benefit subject nevertheless to the payment thereof of certain legacies amongst which are legacies to George Muckleston then of Oxted near Redhill in the county of Surrey Publican of the sum of five hundred pounds and to Francis Hallworth of Pulloxhill in the county of Bedford then in the employ of the Great Northern Railway Company of the sum of four hundred pounds. Now I hereby revoke the said legacies of five hundred pounds and four hundred pounds respectively and also the said devise and bequest of my real and personal estate to Susan Hillyard but so far only as relates to fourteen acres of land included therein situate at Toddington in the county of Bedford and adjoining the road leading from Toddington to Tancott and in lieu of the said legacies to the said George Muckleston and Francis Hallworth equally between them as tenants in common and in all other respects I confirm my said will in witness whereof I have set my hand this twenty first day of December 1886 -R. ON the 10th February 1887 Probate of this will with a codicil was granted to Blackhall Joseph Yarrow and Susan Hillyard the executors.
