In the name of God Amen. I Mary Muckleston of Stoke Newington in the county of Middlesex, widow, being in sound mind and memory but considering the uncertainty of this life do make this my last Will and testament in the manner and form that follows. First of all I would have all my just debts and funeral expenses paid then I give to my eldest son Joseph Muckleston all that my stock and interest which I have in the old annuity at the South Sea House next I give to my youngest son William Hawkins Muckleston all the rest and residue of my personal estate now lying in the **** funds namely the Bank India House and South Sea House I also give to my son William my **** with the appurtenances belonging to it I also give to him all the Blue and White China with the largest teapot and a [pair?] Trunk of [Simmon?] I give to my eldest son Joseph the two hundred and fifty pounds which he has of mine in his hands with the interest due upon it. I also give to him all the Rent money from the estate at Prescott that is or may grow due to me. I give to my eldest son Joseph my Eight Chair and two stool bottoms with a cover for a settee all my own work in **** Stitch with a **** fire screen and a printed cotton counterpane and all the coloured china with a crest on [Simmon?] I give to my brother and sister Hawkins of Burton Ten Guineas a piece and to my friend Mrs Mary Langhorne Ten Pounds I give to my two servants a years wages a piece to buy their mourning these legacies with my other expenses I would have paid within twelve months or sooner if convenient after my decease all my plate [Simmon?] Books and Household furniture of what sort or kind it be excepting only that part of my [Simmon?] which I have herein disposed of before I give between my sons to be equally divided share and share alike. Lastly anything that I shall die possessed worth that is not herein disposed of I give to my two sons to do as they think proper with. I appoint my two sons executors of this my Will hereby revoking all other and former wills by me at any time heretofore made. In witness whereof I have hereunto put my hand and seal this nineteenth day of August One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Eight. Mary Muckleston. I declare this to be my true will and meaning and made according to my desire. Mary Muckleston.

This will was proved at London the twenty first day of January in the year of our Lord One Thousand Seven Hundred and Seventy Nine before the worshipful George Harris **** of **** of the Right Worshipful George Esay in the prerogative court of Canterbury lawfully constituted by the oaths of Joseph Muckleston and William Hawkins Muckleston the sons of the deceased and the executors named in the said will to whom administration of all and singular the goods chattels and credits of the said deceased was granted having first been sworn to administer.
