Her husband, R.A. Slaney was MP for Shrewsbury and was of Hatton Grange of Jure?

In Burke's Commoners (1835):

"Only daughter, and heiress, married to Robert Aglionby Slany, Esq., son of R. Slany Esq., of Hatton."

In The History of the Landed Gentry, Vol. iv, page 503 - (printed 1838):

Slaney of Hatton Grange.

"Slaney, Robert Aglionby, Esq. of Hatton Grange, in the county of Salop.,

Born June 9th 1790, married in February 1812, Elizabeth, only child of William Hawkins Muckleston MD and neice and heiress of Joseph Muckleston Esq., of Walford Manor, in the same county, and has 3 daughters, Elizabeth Francis, married in May 1835 to Thomas Campbell Eyton Esq., in Shropshire, Mary

and Francis Catherine.

Mr. Slaney, who succeeded his father in 1834, is a magistrate for the county of Salop. and MP for Shrewsbury".(See separate Slaney card).

In the Gentleman's Magazine:

1812.-Marriage Feb. 7th. R.A. Slaney Esq., of Hatton Grange, Salop, to Miss Muckleston of Walford, daughter of the late Dr. M.

Shrewsbury Chronicle, Friday July 23rd 1847.

Suddenly on Tuesday 20th inst, Elizabeth, the wife of Robt. A Slaney esq., of Walford Manor, in this county. By her death a heavy loss has been sustained by her friends and poor neighbours.

Funeral of Mrs Slaney.

The remains of this much respected and lamented lady were conveyed on Tuesday from the family mansion, Walford Manor, for internment at Baschurch. In addition to six mourning coaches, containg the immediate connections of Mr and Mrs Salney, there were upwards of 20 private carriages of the families in the neighbourhood and a very numerous body of the tenantry on horseback, forming a mournful procession.
