A Possible Shropshire / London Link?

In the last issue we mentioned the marriage of Elizabeth Mucklestone to William Austin in Southwark Surrey. This event took place in 1791 and witnesses were Rowland and Rebecca Muckleston. Brian Muckleston pointed out that we had a family in Shropshire with (amongst others) siblings called Elizabeth, Rowland and Rebecca. Information on many members of this family is missing after their births so it is possible that they moved to London. We know that Rowland was married twice once in 1745 and secondly in 1762 in Shropshire. Elizabeth was baptised in 1725 which would have made her 45 at the time of her marriage and that is old for a first marriage in the 1700’s. We are now looking for additional proof to confirm this is actually this family group and connection to London.
