The will of Ann Mucklestone late of 44 Vere Street Clare Market in the county of Middlesex Widow deceased who died 20th March 1870 at 44 Vere Street aforesaid was proved at the principle registry by the oath of Ann Patterson (wife of John Patterson) of 17 New Ormond Street in the said county aforesaid the sole executrix.

Transcript of the will:-

I Ann Mucklestone of 44 Vere Street Clare Market in the county of Middlesex Widow do hereby revoke all former wills at any time heretofore madeby me and do declare this to be my last will and testament. I give to my friend and now wife of John Patterson of 44 Vere Street aforesaid late Ann Chandler widow the sum of six pounds for her own use and benefit and I give and bequeath to her all monies that may belong to me at the time of my decease and all the rest and residue of my property estate and effects whatsoever and wheresoever both real and personal whether in possession ********* ********* or ********** upon **** to realise the value and ******* to retain the said legacy of six pounds and to pay all my just debts and funeral and testamentary expenses and subject thereto upon trust for my son Charles Mucklestone and I thereby nominate ***stitute and appoint the said Ann Patterson sole executrix of this my last will and testament In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand this first day of May one thousand eight hundred and sixty eight - The mark X of the said Ann Mucklestone - signed and declared by the said Ann Mucklestone as her last will and testament in the presence of us and in the presence of each other have here unto subscribed our names as witness having first been read over to her in our joint presence. Proved at London 7th April 1870 by the oath of Ann Patterson (wife of John Patterson ) formerly Chandler widow the sole executrix to whom admon was granted.

The ticket was issued on 15 jan 1848 in London. (Ticket number 347502)

Transcript of the Will:-

This is the last will and testament of me William Joseph Muckleston of 32 Taplow Street Shepherdess Walk Hoxton in the county of Middlesex. I direct that all my just debts funeral and testamentary expenses be fully paid by my executor hereinafter named and subject thereto. I give devise and bequeath unto my natural son Joseph John Muckleston all my goods chattels and effects of any kind whatsoever also all my money due to me at my death including that sum in the Post Office Savings Bank and United Law Clerks Society and my shares in the Crystal Palace Company and all else that I may die possessed of. I appoint Joseph John Muckleston of 32 Taplow Street aforesaid sole executor of this my will dated this 12th day of March 1892 -Wm J MUCKLESTON- signed by the testator William Joseph Muckleston and as for his last will and testament in the presence of us who in his presence and in the presence of each other both being present at the same time have hereunto subscribed our names witnesses unto -George Simpson 32 Wakefield Street Regent Square.
