Transcript of the Will:-

I Dorothy Jessie Muckleston of 12 Adderley Road Harrow Weald in the London Borough of Harrow hereby revoke all former Wills and testamentary dispositions made by me and declare this to be my last Will

1. I appoint Stanley Glidle and my niece Joyce Charles (hereinafter called "my Trustees") to be the executors and trustees of this my Will

2. I give all my real and personal property whatsoever and wheresoever to my trustees for the payment of my debts taxes funeral and testamentary expenses and subject thereto to be divided between such of them my sister Emily Gertrude Osbourne and her daughters Pearl Whiteman and Elaine Glazier my sister Olive Russell and her daughters Jacqueline Cannon and Susan Russell my sister Nellie Madge Keech and her daughter Joyce Charles and my niece Lesley Plum as are living at my death and if more than one in equal shares

3. I wish to be cremated but not at the crematorium at Ruislip

Whereas by my said Will I have appointed Stanley Glidle and my niece Joyce Charles to be the executors and trustees thereof

1. Now I revoke the appointment of Stanley Glidle as an executor or trustee of my said Will

2. I appoint the partners at the date of my death in the firm of Leftley Goodwin of 221 to 225 Station Road Harrow Middlesex or the firm which at that date has succeeded to and carries on its practice to be the executors and trustees of this my Will ( and I express the wish that two and only two of them shall prove my Will and act initially in its trusts)

3. Any trustee being a solicitor or other persons engaged in any profession or business shall be entitled to charge and be paid all usual professional or other charges for business done services rendered or time spent by him or his firm in the administration of my estate or the trusts hereof including acts which a Trustee not engaged in any profession or business could have done personally

4. In all other respects I confirm my said Will

Constance Miriam Muckleston gave her age as 30 when she married 33 year old Edward Percy Forsyth on 7th March 1904 at St John the Baptist, Kentish town. She was actually 34. The daughter of Alfred Thomas Muckleston an Engineer appears to have made a good match. Her husband was a Licensed Victualler the son of John Forsyth a gentleman. Her only sibling, brother Lewis Sydney Muckleston was a witness. By 1911 they were living at 10 Gordon Avenue, Brentford, Middlesex. Her husband was working as a Club Manager, they had a 6 year old son Stanley Muckleston Forsyth and her widowed mother Harriet Muckleston aged 72 was living with them.

He was a Naval Officer.

When he went into the navy aged 15 - 16 his family lost touch with him.

Charles was serving with HMS Repulse at the time of his marriage and his residence on the marriage certificate is given as 167 Balls Pond Road. The witnesses to the marriage were W J Skinner and AW C Jeffery.

When his daughter Eileen was born on 1st January 1935 Charles was serving as a steward in the Royal Navy and the family address was given as 25 Percy Road, Wallington Surrey. When Eileen married in 1956 his occupation is given as Sales Manager.

BE IT KNOWN that Charles William Amos Muckleston of 60 Plum Lane Plumstead London

died there on the 19th day of August 1960

intestate

AND BE IT FURTHER KNOWN that at the date hereunder written Letters of Administration of all the Estate which by law devolves to and vests in the personal representative of the said intestate were granted by the high court of Justice at the Principle Probate Registry thereof to Minnie Elizabeth Muckleston of 60 Plum Lane aforesaid the lawful widow and relict and only person now entitled to the estate of the said intestate.

And it is hereby certified that an Inland Revenue affidavit has been delivered wherein it is shown that the gross value of the said estate in Great Britain (exclusive of what the said deceased may have been possessed of or entitled to as trustee and not beneficially) amounts to £3994-11-5

and that the net value of the estate amounts to £2734-8-1
