Married by licence - a copy of which is in the Bedfordshire record office

his baptism date is not necvessarily near his birh date. He and his brother William (born about 1767) appear in the Streatly registers as "publickly Recieved" - it may be they were both born before their parents came to Streatly and this was a way of baptising them into the church

Cause of death given as Visitation of God, Disease of the Heart. The death was certified by a Coroner John Green of Woburn on 10th February 1853. This would indicate a sudden death.
